Motel 6 Cartersville, GA

The motel was easy to find, right off the interstate, which was a blessing after a long, rainy drive. KP, the host, was very kind and accommodating, as was the housekeeping staff. The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the ac/ heat worked fine, and the water pressure was good. The bathroom could use some upgrades, such as a comfort height commode, grab bars for shower/tub, a hook on the door, more shelf space, and a blow dryer. All told, it was a great stay- good sleep, good value, awesome customer service! Would definitely recommend for a great rest on a road trip!

This hotel ⭐️ 1-Star Review I planned to stay at this hotel for a cheer competition weekend, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the rate we were charged was higher than the price we originally booked for. The front desk wasn’t helpful in resolving the discrepancy, he was extremely rude and we felt like we were being brushed off. After checking in, we went to look at our room—and that made things even worse. The room was not clean, and we found roaches, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially during a busy event weekend when families are relying on a safe and sanitary place to stay. Stopped last minute traveling from Florida to Michigan. The building is old but you can tell they're trying to keep it clean and more modern. Bed was very comfortable and I slept like a rock. They were getting the seasonal ready for opening and there's a fireplace out back if you're traveling with a larger group. The only downside I had was a strange odor in my room. Almost smelled Luke dog food?? I was traveling with my dog but the smell was noticeable as soon as I opened the door so it wasn't us. The fan in the bathroom is loud. Bare bones-coffee but no breakfast included. Lots of vending machines though!! For a travel stop I would definitely stay here again.

I was very satisfied with our stay here. The outside property was clean. There wasn't anyone outside causing a disturbance. The staff was helpful and quick to get us set up. The room was very clean. A lot of space. Smelled fresh as well. The bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh as well. Had a refrigerator, flat screen TV with cable, fresh bath towels, hand towels and wash rags. The bed linens were fresh and clean. The beds were super comfortable! The water pressure in the shower worked great. The AC worked great. We never seen any pests nor evidence of them. The location is right off of 75 where there are plenty of stores and restaurants that are open 24/7. I would definitely recommend to family and friends! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it advertises having a pool.

Very very polite and respectful. Went out of his way to show me where a restaurant was. Great visit, clean room, decent parking.
