Motel 6 Ashland, VA

My room wasn't very clean. There was pee on the toilet seat and hair in the bathtub. The whole room was kind of grubby. My key card stopped working twice and I had to run to the office to have them fix it. The front desk staff were super nice. They were friendly, helpful, and polite. I really appreciated that. Might have been a fluke that my room was so gross. BYOC (Bring Your Own Clorox)

I'm afraid I'm not going to be so positive on this one. It was OK, nothing major was wrong, but it's not a very clean property. I guess the first disappointment wasn't really their fault. I would have liked to use have used the pool, but was told the paper work for it wasn't finished yet, so I couldn't swim.|The room looked cute and modern when you first opened the door. But when you looked closer, it could have been much cleaner. There was even some wrapers of some sort left behind the bathroom door. The shower functioned ok, but we had to ask for shampoo. The TV didn't function properly. When I turned it on in the morning, it blasted a loud channel and I couldn't mute it or turn it off. Sorry, neighbors. I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome stay at Motel 6 in Ashland. From the great hospitality from the front desk both day and evening as well as the cleaning staff and laundry/maintenance people helped me settle in as I look for an apartment in town. Thank you and will definitely recommend not just for the location but truly great customer service.

Thank you hotel 6 for accommodating us last night. After the Days Inn next door gave our room away. We travel the US transporting customers boats and we always stayed at their hotel. This was the third time that when we showed up after we called and reserved a room that they gave it away. Thank you for getting us a room and we will be stopping by there regularly because we can't seem to count on Days Inn.
