Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Ashland - Hanover, VA

Unplanned stop at this hotel without reservations while traveling from a house-hunting trip. Right off the highway - staff was very welcoming, hotel was busy but quiet and the room was clean, updated and comfortable. Breakfast following morning was wonderful. Will stay again if ever in this area.

Check in was easy & friendly. Military Rate was honored and reasonable. Room was clean, convenient and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Sheila was professional, friendly & helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to friends and have made reservations for another trip in November.

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! FIRST OF ALL YOU MUST KNOW...THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM!!! THIS IS NOT A CHOICE HOTEL OR A RADISSON HOTEL!!! THE HOTEL IS INDIVIDUALLY OWNED, AND THEY PAY A FEE TO USE THE NAME!!! This is a basic hotel. It is very quiet, comfortable and clean. Staff was very attentive. The 4 rating was because the breakfast was only ok. Healthier egg options would have been preferred. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

It was "okay". I selected this hotel because it was advertised as pet-free. First of all, let it be known that during my December 2025 stay, I was charged a $4/night RESORT FEE. Talk about "junk fees" -- is this to cover the so-called free breakfast? Yes, the hotel does disclose the total price with fees but they don't tell you that the fees include a "resort fee" for a place that isn't a resort. It's only so they can advertise a lower price. There's gotta be a law against these kind of mandatory hidden tack-on fees for imaginary services.||That said -- I had never stayed in a Country Inn brand before. If this hotel is like other Country Inns, you can expect -- no carpeting in the hallways, therefore sound carries up and down the hall -- this one had no USB connectivity, not even U
