Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Richmond Ashland

Stayed here for a quick overnight and it was exactly what I needed. Check-in was easy, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable enough for a solid night’s sleep. Location was convenient and made getting in and out simple. Nothing fancy, but reliable and comfortable for a short stay. Gym has water and a couple cardio machines and dumbbells as well.

We received the warmest of welcomes at the Fairfield Inn & Suites from Emily (Emily Boone) ! Having travelled up from Miami, it's fair to say that this was the best welcome that we received at any of the hotels that we checked into on our way up to Washington DC. The room was clean and ample for our needs. The hotel was ideally located with eateries nearby and was not too far from Busch Gardens in Williamsburg (approx 1 hours drive). We did have a rather noisy neighbour who decided that he was going to play his music at full blast just before 6am ! However, a trip down to reception and the lovely lady on reception followed me back upstairs and spoke to the guy next door. The music stopped after that ! All in all a faultless stay, we would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to

The staff here were all wonderful. From the front desk to the housekeepers everyone seemed to have the same goal: total guest satisfaction. The hotel was extremely clean and smelled great, especially our room. It was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and quiet. We took advantage of the pool which, although small, was clean and not too cold. The business center in the lobby allowed me to print our Kings Dominion tickets for the next day without a charge which was very convenient although I did see a sign in the lobby that the hotel offers discount tickets as well. Breakfast in the morning had everything you could want and there was plenty of seating. I would most definitely stay here again in the future but, honestly, this hot

Subject: Formal Complaint – Front Desk Conduct Staff Name: Deirdre Feb 22 12:30pm I am submitting a formal complaint regarding Deirdre’s conduct during our recent phone interaction. Her tone was hostile, she repeatedly interrupted me, raised her voice, and refused to allow me to finish speaking. When I asked her to repeat information for clarity, she responded with agitation rather than professionalism. This behaviour was inappropriate and unacceptable for someone representing your property. We conduct a significant amount of business with this location, and being spoken to in this manner is not something we take lightly. This interaction has raised serious concerns about the level of service and professionalism at your front desk. I expect this matter to be reviewed internally and add

This hotel does not value loyalty status. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite, there was no acknowledgment of my status at check in. I had to ask for water, and ask for gratuitous amenities provided to Platinum Elite. When I asked for an extra pillow, they said they didn’t think they had any. Netflix did not work and they wouldn’t help troubleshoot. At checkout, the hotel rep offered apologies for the poor service of their staff and points as a compensation. While the points benefit me, the change in their behavior would benefit all their customers.
