Motel 6 Albany, NY - Airport

They deserve less than one star. Paid $80 for room. Went to look at the room and there was bed bugs at the headboard of the bed and candy wrappers holes in the door filthy disgusting room . Went to office to ask for refund moments after checking in and they refused to refund my $80.so do not stay here unless you're a trashy person.

The room was typical for the price range, but there were burns on the bathtub, 2 pillows for a king size bed. Not very clean, scum on the floor. But there were permanent residents or long term that were hanging out with room open and made it feel shady, don’t stay unless your sleeping and leaving in the morning

I called ahead of time so I know someone was there but when I arrived the front door was locked. There is a door bell for nighttime arrivals so I rang the bell and waited but got no response. So after about 5 minutes or more of being attacked by bugs because of the bright lights I ring the bell again. I can also hear the bell it’s pretty loud. I get no response it’s been another 5 minutes. I was trying to be patient because I understand things happen and people get busy. The bugs were so bad at this point I’m annoyed, tired and I have to get up early the next morning. We parked I smoked a cigarette and still nobody came out to help us! So I called twice and get no response this is very frustrating! Me and my partner just got out of work and just want to sleep but now have drive around to f

It was fine, a little bit less than your average motel six. Staff was friendly, very competitive rates, rooms were reasonably clean, had some folks that looked like they were staying there on a more full-time basis. Did not feel unsafe, but I could see how some folks would feel slightly uncomfortable with the location and some of the guests on this particular night. Overall fine stay.
