Motel 301

This is absolutely the NASTIEST motel I have ever stayed at. |Here is a list of what is wrong |We had absolutely no hot water to brush teeth or take a shower. No phone to call front desk. Ice machine out of order, soda machine out of order but they do sell bottle water for a $1. Door in the room had no hinges so it was duct taped shut. Microwave has rust on the inside of it, how gross. Stainless steel in bathroom was rusted, tiles missing on walls the shower walls did not even look clean but it really didn't matter since we had no hot water. AC had installation coming out of the side. There was one plug that had 5 things plugged into it.|DO NOT STAY HERE

We had an emergency after only being there an hour. Explained it to the lady at the desk, and she didn't care. Was hoping they would understand and give a refund. The place is rundown and outdated. Maybe ok for a sleepover, but save your money and go elsewhere. I had to laugh at the positive reviews, they are certainly people that the owners have asked to review the place. Not to mention what looked like homeless people hanging outside the rooms.

We were there for the night to go to the casino and got in very late a night the owners we SO nice ! Rooms were very affordable and clean !! Comfy beds , CLEAN hot showers and bathroom! Honestly I was just looking for a Cheap hotel room to sleep for a cpl hours and ended up being so pleasantly surprised that this will for sure be my first call the next time I am in town :) I even dropped one of my personal belongings on the ground and the owner went above and beyond and kept it for me untill morning! Highly recommend!!

I stayed at the Motel 301 for a couple of months right in the middle of Tampa still getting hammered with Covid-19, and it was honestly the least stressful motel experience I've ever had. From my first day there, the owners and staff always took the time to say hello and make sure I had everything I needed, even though they stay very busy working all day long. The owner even saw me with my hood up one hot and humid afternoon and pulled his car around to help me get my truck started. I never had a privacy concern, a rude interaction, or any sort of negative experience during my stay. As someone who has spent several long term stays in hotels/motels (up to a year and a half), the majority of my stays were regularly stressful with the police showing up all the time or just constant yelling co

The owners are wonderful people, very friendly and accommodating, rooms are very clean and their rates are great compared to the chain hotel/motels. Anyone who says anything bad about this place is just someone who broke the rules and was asked to leave, in other words, they're lying.
