went here for a young men's campout and canoed. for most of the way there it was fine until 2/3 of the way thru lewis river a storm hit with hail, rain, and lightning😭 and then the wind picked up as we were canoeing to the camp site our group got split up into two different groups. I didn't have any of my stuff and I was fortunate enough to have ZERO FOOD and sleep in a 4 man tent with 8 people and two including me with hypothermia on our feet. minus that tho it was a great four day trip😁
We stayed in this campsite for 1 night. Once we got to the top of the Lewis River Channel it was an easy paddle over to camp. Plenty of space. Plenty of beach front camping. Moose creek runs right by this campsite, so more opportunities for wildlife watching.
