Montana Trailhead Inn

I traveled to Billings for work and stayed here for four nights. The price was reasonable; which usually means it’s going to suck. NOT THIS TIME! The rooms were nice and warm, clean and plenty of space. The breakfast and coffee were perfect and the staff were BEYOND helpful and friendly. A special shout out to the man at the front desk Todd! He went above and beyond to accommodate me and my coworker. Went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and seemed more than happy to do whatever he could do for us. Aside from the great rooms and comfort; Todd, Mary and Nicole are the reason i will return here. Thank you for all your help and your great attitudes! The true definition if “HOSPITALITY” is still alive and well at the TRAILHEAD INN, Billings Montana!!!!!!!!!!!!

The vicinity appears to be safe. The Inn has undergone extensive remodeling, vastly improving the atrium/foyer and the front desk area. Room was very clean, beds very comfortable. We overslept so didn’t get to eat breakfast, but it sure smelled good!|Will definitely stay here again.

Positive: Gorgeous room! Great staff! Super price for the value! Negative: Tub needed better cleaning. Still, very happy with the room.

The staff at this hotel deserve 6 stars! They are truly amazing! We have stayed at this hotel for several years with our entire team and the staff is always extremely accommodating and friendly! I highly recommend this hotel! We love the upgrades, as this hotel is getting better every year and it is very evident that the owners are making a deliberate effort to keep improving the hotel. I am so happy with our stay and really appreciate the service that you are providing!

​Our flight wasn't scheduled until 5:20 PM, and without a rental car, we were quite stressed about the gap between the 11AM checkout and our departure. Todd at the front desk was exceptional; he showed genuine concern and immediately looked for ways to assist us. ​He and Mary worked quickly to secure a late checkout. While they weren't initially certain if management could approve the extension, Todd proactively assured us he would "go to bat" for us the following morning. His transparency regarding the process ensured we had no surprises. Additionally, Nichole provided a seamless and welcoming check-in despite our very late arrival. ​Every staff member we encountered was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. Montana clearly knows how to provide world-class hospitality! 5 Stars.
