Customer Reviews
Overall, Miraval did not feel it was worth the price for a few reasons. While we had a nice trip, the service and food fell very short, for having paid $2000+ a night. The Soups were so delicious, But most everything else on the food menu (which was all-included) was very average. Cocktails (not included) were very subpar, and coffee was bad. The servers at dinner were so incredibly neglectful; for one of the dinners, our waitress came to our table only once! Our requests to housekeeping were ignored and had to be re-placed 3 times (for just towels!). It felt that we were constantly having to repeat our requests for help/service. Multiple smoothie/coffee items were often “unavailable”, due to poor planning/stocking. The instructors, classes offered, and spa treatments were all incredible!
Miraval Austin truly feels like an oasis. We spent three nights on property, and the setting is peaceful, expansive, and beautifully designed to encourage rest, reflection, and disconnection. The sunset views from the Serenity Pool were breathtaking, and the Hilltop Crossing patio genuinely made me feel like I was in another country.||The classes were excellent—Sound of Soul with James was a standout. Programming overall felt thoughtful and aligned with the resort’s wellness mission.||The food was delicious and nourishing, clearly prepared with intention. Planning ahead is essential, however. I strongly recommend booking activities, spa services, and dinner reservations well in advance, as availability fills quickly.||The spa itself is beautiful and serene, though therapist quality was som
I don’t even know where to begin—in the best way. I went to Miraval Austin with a friend not fully knowing what to expect, and what we found was such a peaceful, grounding experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and intentional. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, though they could use a little TLC. That said, the service was truly wonderful—every single employee we interacted with was kind, warm, and genuinely happy to be there, which made the whole stay feel easy and cared for. The property is beautifully laid out and easy to navigate, and as a Midwesterner, it was a super easy trip for a long weekend. The spa was clean, serene, and a perfect place to fully unplug. And the food—so good. I loved the healthy options, the thoughtful menus featuring ingred
Everything about your stay here will be above and beyond excellent. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very professional at their position, whether an instructor, a hike guide, an artist, or a valued member of the service team. The food was incredible, seasoned perfectly, and had great selections. The spa is an absolute must even if you're just lounging in the sauna or steam room. Definitely disconnect and be in the moment. Lay in the hammocks. Stare at the edge of the infinity pool with the Hill Country in the background. Overall, bravissimo, Miraval. We are already planning a trip to your Tucson property.
An unforgettable experience, but definitely room for improvement given the price tag. Miraval austin is one of those aspirational properties that everyone looks forward to. As one of Hyatts flagship properties you would only expect the best there. Wish I could say I got the best, but it was mostly good. The problem is with the activity bookings. Every individual person has to book their own activities and there's no description vs. The detailed calendar on Miraval. Also, the site defaults to the first day after every activity booking. And lastly, most of the activities are taken that a person would be interested in. I got a few calls from an experience coordinator to help but they're always during working hours where someone is... most likely working and they aren't available after hours
