Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Palm Coast

For a budget hotel it was nice. It is a bit worn but clean, halls and room had a good smell. Good water pressure in the shower. Pool is small but clean, good for a dip. Breakfast is typical, waffle maker, pancake maker, yogurt, bagels, cereal, coffee/tea. Orange and apple juices were very watered down. All the staff we spoke with were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. TV in the room was very small, no controller so had to go to the desk and get one.

Positive: "" Negative: Yes, the site didn't give specifics about the pet policy, then told me about the pet fee but I couldn't stay and they wouldn't refund my money. So no hotel room but was still charged. I got there early in the day so there was no reason they couldn't.

Had a positive experience at this Microtel Inn. The staff was great! Breakfast was lacking though. Nothing to really make a complete meal. You can make waffles, pancakes, bagels but no meat or eggs. There was bread, oranges, cereal, only whole milk, yogurt, tea bags, and oatmeal packs. I didn't see anywhere to get hot water, but I guess it was available. I stayed in a suite and was satisfied with the room. I wish there was at least a stove surface, but I made do. Update: There is a $14.95/night charge added to your credit card upon departure. The fine print in my confirmation email mentions an option of paying a $50 cash deposit. I would ask about doing that if I stayed there again. I'm curious to see if they'd actually just accept the $50 cash and not also charge your credit c

I'd rate this a 2 star hotel at best. You basically get a thick sheet for your bedding. Mold all around various spots with chunks of the ceiling falling down, corroded bathroom fixtures, lint and makeup all over the hair dryer that looks like a fire hazard waiting to happen, toilet doesn't barely flush tp, half inch gap around the door to the lobby. You can hear EVERYTHING! Pretty sure we had an elephant above us. Front desk clerks were pleasant but no one else speaks any English so don't expect much help from them. Went down for breakfast the next morning and I couldn't even get any coffee. Carafes were completely empty, no more brewed, and couldn't find anyone to help so I had to go out for breakfast and it was only 8. I would honestly never stay here again, especially when we paid over

This place is in very poor shape.... the pictures speak for themselves... the room stinks of mold, hotdog water and helicopter smoke. I felt like i was back in the projects of my childhood...roaches and all. Broken and sharp floor tiles, bad paint, yellow toilet and shower water and terrible smell. best part of the hotel was the extremely nice manager on duty.
