Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lynchburg

Room was good, easy check in, but they really need to invest in some adult toilets!!! I've never seen such ones so close to the floor,I literally needed to lean on the vanity and door handle to get up. They might be good for kids but definitely not full size adults

Fantastic location! If you're looking for a central location from which you can explore Lynchburg, then this is your place. I couldn't believe how close everything was from this location. You have Kroger, Cookout, Liberty University, the River Ridge Mall, Walmart, Target, and a whole host of locations all within a 5 minute drive of the location. Additionally, the hotel is right next to the access to 501 heading to Forest or Downtown Lynchburg. Breakfast was also provided (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, and milk). But the best feature of the facility was the friendliness, consideration, and helpfulness of the staff. I would not recommend this hotel! While the lobby looks very nice and clean, the rooms are definitely outdated. The elevator sounds like it could break at any moment. Our room smelled like some kind of really strong disinfectant. The lighting was awful. There was only one small light under the TV and the other light near the bed was so bright. You couldn’t leave it on without hurting your eyes. The bathroom is decent shower had plenty of pressure, you just couldn’t adjust the showerhead. The toilet was so low that it was probably only 2 feet from the ground. It would be really hard for an older person to use.

**Clean Rooms & Outstanding Staff** I recently stayed at the Microtel in Lynchburg, VA and was very pleased with how clean and well-kept the rooms were. Everything felt fresh, organized, and comfortable, which made the stay relaxing. I also want to specifically mention Jhalil, the young man working in housekeeping. When we asked for extra towels, he was extremely polite, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. On top of that, he took the time to recommend some local hidden gems around Lynchburg for good food and fun, which really added to our trip. It’s refreshing to stay somewhere that not only maintains cleanliness but also has staff who clearly care about guests and take pride in their work. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Quiet, clean room. Nice having a fridge and microwave. Didn’t partake in free breakfast, but he appeared to have limited selections.
