Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lexington

I normally don’t even leave reviews for places because I’m not a complainer. I understand that things happen. But after driving for 16 hours straight I just needed somewhere to crash for the night. Let me start, the lady at the front desk is the sweetest but the rooms are disgusting. Went through 3 rooms just to get a somewhat clean room that I ended up having to clean the bathroom myself before I could use the toilet. First room, still had pee and hairs all over the toilet and hairs all in the shower. Went downstairs to tell the front desk lady, she was very kind and apologetic about it. So she got me a new room, same thing but this room had what looked like blood still on the toilet, and pee dippings all around the sides of the toilet and shower is covered in someone else’s hair.. went d

Positive: Some personal and cleaning staff are very polite and helpful Negative: Just the breakfast if it was set up a bit early wasn’t able to get some from a certain person in the morning. All o/ staff allowed I would get breakfast if it was 10 mins before the time. Other than that every1 else was super great and respectful &helpfil

Have stayed at this particular location several times. Always with my dog, yet this time I was told there would be a $100 hold put on my credit card along with the $20 pet fee which had never been the case in prior visits nor was disclosed on any part of the online booking process. The gentlemen at the front desk Marcus was very helpful and waived the $100 hold which was greatly appreciated. The only complaint I have is being placed in a room directly across from the Ice machine which was extremely loud and woke me up several times throughout the night as well as hearing one of the hallway doors slam no less than 10 times I was not able to get much sleep. This was the first time I was disappointed in my stay here

I stayed here as a solo woman and felt safe. They provided a simple yet satisfying breakfast. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, and the staff were helpful. I think for the price, this hotel is a steal. Only con I had is sometimes the hall smelled like cigarettes. My room didn’t thankfully.

Hotel did what it needed to do...provide us with a place to sleep for the night and shower in the morning (after around a 3am checkin). But, the room was not very clean and the bathroom was a nightmare. There was water literally squishing out from under the flooring because the shower leaked so profusely. Breakfast was kind of a joke but also did what it needed to do...stop us from spending an hour grabbing a bite before we got back on the long road home. Staff was accommodating.
