MERCED INN AND SUITES

Positive: Clean sheets. Fresh towels and the doors/windows locked. Negative: The location is sketchy. Lots of homeless people and folks living full time in the place. Kind of run down but good for the price. NOT THE KIND OF PLACE YOUD WANT TO CHECK INTO AFTER DARK.

It took me 25 mins to wait in the check in lobby, there was no people there. The motel has no elevator!There was No microwave, no phone, no coffee pot. I walked in the breakfast area at 7:45am, there was no any kind of hot food, or any kind of bread! Nothing, except coffee and hot water. I can say there was NO breakfast at all, I need to go to McDonalds for my breakfast.

This place is a dump. Outdated rooms are dirty. There's graffiti on the bathroom door. There's no GFCI protection in the bathroom so you might get electrocuted. There is no fire alarm mounted. TV remote didn't work. The area where you try to sleep The light is on a sensor switch so every time you move, the light will turn on waking you up all night long. The shower water did not want to turn off. If you have a CPAP machine, good luck on trying to get a receptacle to plug it , its behind the bed. The free breakfast is a joke. They give you an ironing board with no iron went to ask for one. They said they don't have one.. I checked in early and got charged extra, which is normal, but I told them I needed to sleep because I was so tired that I couldn't sleep because the light kept turning on

It was cheap and it showed. Pretty much a new fault revealed itself around every corner. The key card reader kept not working (positive note, the desk assistant was helpful getting up and showing me that it needed to be pulled out *slowly*, though frankly this shouldn't be necessary). There were little bits of refuse still in the room, and there was a distinct waft of marijuana as I entered (frankly couldn't smell it while inside). The worst part was the motion sensor light kept turning *ON* throughout the night, waking me up. Breakfast was not great but at that point I wasn't expecting much of anything.

My husband found this hotel online and said it looks BEAUTIFUL!!!! We booked a room and when we checked in, WOW!!!!! What a DUMP!!!!!! Never AGAIN!!!!!! Walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING and EVERYONE!!! I would not recommend this hotel!!!!!! The blanket had cigarette burns and the floors feels like it has not been swept in weeks!!!! There are only 3 towels and the bathroom is just gross!!! I almost slipped in the shower as well!!!! There are cobwebs on the ceiling and the door doesn’t look too secure!!! But we stayed anyway and I couldn’t sleep at all!!!! This was not worth our money at all!!!!
