Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We had a wonderful off season first time stay recently and the king suite room with direct marina view that had the most incredible sunset available both nights. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and enabled a good night sleep. The hotel was not full so very quiet and not crowded. We did have an outside pool view but I am sure in the summer it is refreshing to come back to after a day at the beach. Suzy at the front desk was most helpful with check in and valuable tips to staying off season in a mostly summer resort town. We would be happy to stay here again.

Stayed two nites and both were very pleasant. Liked the facility, a boutique hotel, looking & functioning better than the chain hotel nice. Design reflects expertise & diligence to detail. Nice water & sunset views. Used the lounge each evening for draft beer (several on tap) and very large crab cakes. Pleasant atmosphere. Their greatest asset is their employees. Each and everyone of was efficient & genuinely friendly, more so than the professional friendly most often found in hotels. Happy to stay there again.

Spent 2 nites. Different from the sameness look of hotel chains - very nice difference. Hotel design is impressively well thought out. Nice amenities, in winter, especially appreciated the lounge (draft beer & crab cakes) more than the pool. Very comfortable place but their most impressive asset is their staff - genuinely friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!

We decided to spend our wedding anniversary at another hotel. Upon arrival, we learned that our room was changed from an over the water bungalow to a floating bungalow. I have severe motion sickness and there were no over the water bungalows available for our length of stay. We had planned this trip months in advance. While I was having a total meltdown in the car, my husband stopped at this hotel. Casey, the desk attendant listened to my husband explain our dilemma. She and Ishant, the hotel manager worked together and booked us in a spacious room with a panoramic view of the water. Feeling tired and stressed, we ate in the Marina's bar area. Ishant and the Chef served us a tasty meal with the most DELICIOUS strawberry smith island cake for desert. We had candlelight dinner along with

This hotel was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were here for a wedding. Turned out nice! Our rooms were good. Clean, but carpet could have been cleaner. Would stay again. They have an outdoor pool and several piers that we were able to fish from.
