MainStay Suites Murfreesboro

Reserved 2queen and sleeper for 5. The beds were not a queen and full sized. The sleeper had no bedding and had to retrieve. There was dog hair all over the sleeper and the aroma of dog was in the room. This extremely bothered my allergies. There were only enough towels for two guests. Had to retrieve those as well. Breakfast was bare at 8:05 and served until 9:30. There was nothing to eat. So we had to spend the additional money to get breakfast. Bananas were brown.

I've never written a review about a hotel or anything in my life. But if you read this within the next couple weeks don't stay at this hotel. Like fr it's disgusting. We had to leave right when we got there. Bed bugs and or flies everywhere in the bed and in the room. When we left we had them all over our body and clothes. Don't do it! We lasted not even 10 minutes in the room. I took a pic of what looks like a one fly we found but the bed bugs we found were all over us. Only got one cause of how gross it was. Trust me avoid!!

We were very impressed, never stayed at a Choice Hotel. Inspections of rooms need to be a little better. TV remote had a blown up battery inside and didn’t work and the air didn’t work which was tough but we made due. The room in general was spacey and the kitchen with stove and dishwasher is great for a small family. Truly a great spot. We appreciate the stay and will definitely be staying there when we head north.

Great location. Room was good. Breakfast was just ok. Made me wonder if someone didn’t come in today. I would have expected a little more. But overall for the rate, the room was fine. The man who checked us on was very friendly and speedy.

For years I would have scored a 10 for this establishment, but this time we were disappointed. The room was fine and we have no complaints with it. The breakfast was very disappointing. The establishment is obviously trying to save money, as the breakfast had half of the items that it had all of the other times we have stayed there. Rotten bananas, apples, cereal, hot cereal, bagels, toast and beverages. The front desk person was running the breakfast, where in the past they actually had a personable and attentive attendant; who was a joy to talk to in the morning. When we asked the desk why the changes we got an explanation that,"...it was due to COVID"; which was a lie, as we have stayed there since COVID and it never changed until this time. We did tell her that and got a blank look. So
