Magnolia Inn Motel

Nicely paint rooms the people are great the 2 ladies at check in amazing. Absolutely no problems I would recommend

I stayed at the Magnolia Inn Motel for a two week business trip. The motel was clean, comfortable, safe and in a great location. The owner takes great pride in his business, offering “hardwood” flooring, “wood” blinds, mounted flat screen TV and a pedestal sink. The bed was soft and comfortable…and although the motel is located off of Hwy 71, the nights were very quiet. The owner cleaned the rooms himself and is very selective about his customers (No loudness tolerated). There was only a shower….no bathtub…which was fine with me. NO PETS ALLOWED for those that travel with their four legged children (which was fine with me as well). There are too many food establishments to name in walking distance and Walmart is about a block away. There’s also a decent thrift store across the street…Mus

I try not to be negative, so I'm not going to list all the bad things about this place. However, my review of this place is not fantastic. Aside from a decent price, I'm not pleased with the smell and poor condition of the room. I could have easily went to a different motel, but there are no refunds. At the best this location deserves three stars. Another important note: bring a $10 bill. Even if you are paying with a credit card you still will not be given a room unless you have an additional $10 in cash which is not part of the room's price.

The woman at the front desk was very rude when I came to get my deposit the room was spotless I was given permission to have an animal there and she only tried to give me half my deposit looked at me like I was dumb didn’t know what I was doing so then I came back and I told her my deposit was more than that and she had to have somebody else come help her out this was horrible service do not recommend ever going there again . Place was also horrible hot water took forever to turn on and only one plug-in outlet. Complete horrible motel

I have often thought of moving in there just to see what it would be like but some people say it's not safe for women. I live alone since the divorce and I don't have any kids with me anymore. but I don't make enough probably to live there I do have a friend that lives there and he seems to like it okay. I have visited him twice and I'm not going to say it was the Ritz-Carlton but I check for bed bugs and there weren't any I also did not see any spiders nor did I see any any roaches. I don't know if I could get used to just having a stand up shower personally. I guess anybody can adapt to anything if they have to. one thing I didn't really care for about it was when you pull into the driveway so it's a high steep incline that you almost can't do it without taking your muffler out.
