Mac's Motel

My boyfriend is in foster care in Tampa (1hr away) so every weekend I would come down to stay. I stayed at a total of 5 motels in that area and YUCK! Roach paradise. If you're looking for a great neighborhood, this part of the city is NOT it, but if, like me, you have to stay in south side, THIS is the place to do it. They have a HUGE bathroom with tile floors, giant mirror and a CLEAN stand up shower. The ceilings were also pretty tall. The bed was clean, and didn't make too much noise. The air conditioner was a unit, but kicked up fast. The TV was up high so there was plenty of dresser space. The microwave was newer, and the fridge was perfect. There were multiple lights, rather than just 1 overhead. It reminded me of an efficiency hotel room. My boyfriend and I immediately said WOW. It

Went to go get a room 2 days ago and she looked at me and my girlfriend with a stank attitude and said there’s no room but then said yes there’s rooms for 85 a night. Like girl the place isn’t even nice. And it smelled as soon as we went to ask if they had anything available. The short lady is the rudest ! Don’t GET A ROOM THERE !

As much as I respect the other persons review. I lived in this area. Nebraska Ave and the entire surroundings is the inner city that has all the trappings of such. |It has motels that are rented by the hour with folks from DCF that are given vouchers to stay once out of jail. |Please spend a few extra dollars to be safe

You're in "The Heart" of "Seminole Heights" 😍; down scaled, unpretentious, classy and friendly atmosphere 👍 . Consider Seminole Heights a "laid back" Ybor City . I could go on and on about the people, the house's, the "atmosphere"; and DEFINITELY the food, ie (Extreme Taco's 🤪) and The "Original" (Taco Bus) , all within walking distance from the motel . But I won't, you just gotta come on down and see, try & taste for yourself 😍 .

For the area way to high however room was clean, felt safe inside room very good door and no unwanted guest or traffic on property.
