Lotus Provincetown

We stayed here in the offseason for a little winter getaway. There is NO HOT TUB. There is a sauna but on some booking websites it says there is a private outdoor hot tub but there is not. I was disappointed with this considering we went in the winter and it was one of the only things we could do and I can’t use a sauna. And the booking is non-refundable. I didn’t ask for any money back but I was disappointed by the lack of compensation for this discrepancy considering that it is false advertising and I was only informed that there was no hot tub when I explicitly asked if it was working. We stayed in the balcony room at the front which was lovely. I absolutely loved the fireplace. The room was clean and nice and the bed and sheets were super comfortable. We had a very unhappy experience with this hotel and its management. We booked at the the Commercial street location for one night at just under $500 for the night with taxes. The room did not match the photos online by a long shot. The room was shabby, with worn furniture, carpet that was so old it was not adhering to the floor. There is no person on site and you can only communicate by text. We asked to be moved and were told they were full. We communicated our displeasure with the room and the reply was “see if you can do better elsewhere “. We asked for a refund from our credit card company and were given one. Because the hotel requires a damage deposit of $150 before check in (which they did return because we left the room as we found it) the hotel made a second, unauthorized

This wasn’t the worst but wasn’t the best as far as an Inn goes & pictures extra exaggerated . I get having an online Application to speed things up but prefer Contact on *some level at the place even a “ Hidden Office” , in case an appliance isn’t working ,,emergencies or if power goes out ( luckily last day ), the process was kind of shady with that & didn’t know how little Contact there would be . The bathroom is described as only being shared with two other rooms but was definitely more than that , one bathroom isn’t enough with an up and downstairs Fridge is shared, but should be one in the rooms so everyone has room to store even small items . The room was cozy , we didn’t mind but a heads up the room is small, not recommended for tall people & or hanging out in , mainly sleeping The

The room was wonderful. The shared bath was perfect. The little extras in the room like robes was perfect. Checking in and out is all remote and made so easy. I love that it is adult only

😊: - located middle of town, everything at door step - good air-conditioning - cleaning staff very friendly - Small but decent TV. 😢: - we ended up, not with room i originally booked from very first booking.. In a annex hotel rooms. - WE had shared toilet & shower with other room(s), never again! - Shared toilet & shower room was tiny. - This bedroom lack storage/ hanging space. We stacked the room with our clothing pods, no drawers to put them in..
