Lamplighter Motel

Bring bleach and trash bags. Had black mold under sink. Let the front office know and they didn't bother cleaning it. Literally had a mushroom growing out from underneath the bathroom sink. Make sure you clean up all your trash when you leave. There is no daily cleaning service and if you leave trash laying out when you check out they're going to put you on the no rent list and tell you trashed the room. Management and service is lazy and RUDE. The sheets have burn holes in them and the towels stink fresh out of the washer and dryer. If you don't mind staying in filth...... Wear shoes when you're in the room the floors will cut your feet. There is a reason it's 50/night!!!! You get what you paid for. Save the $50 and sleep in your car.

The workers there are pretty hateful. My friend came by the second day of me being there and he had a dog with him, and they office staff called me and was freaking out about it. They put me as a no re-rent. Crazy and hateful. Other than that, the room was very run down, but everything worked just fine. The hot water took forever to actually get hot and that sucked, but it's ok.

Don't stay in room 123 and expect your TV to work after going and getting three different remote controls because management is not willing to put you into one of 30 available rooms nor will they come out and try and solve the connection problem. This is ridiculous

I will give it 4️⃣⭐... Because it is the kind of hotel for a tight budget💯 or a last-minute place need to be💯.. Probably one of the cheapest rooms in the Dallas area💯.. It's an older hotel so the rooms a kind of rough💯(if you are the type of person with high expectations don't stay here..)⭐⭐(I say this because you won't rate the overall experience fairly based upon the room condition)..⭐⭐ ⭐⭐Being fair to the hotel...💯⭐⭐ It has some great qualities💯, the air works great💯.. PLENTY OF PARKING💯, THE SHOWER WAS AMAZING (GREAT WATER PRESSURE💯, LONG-LASTING HEAT IN THE WATER💯...(Which I have not always got at better rated hotels 💯) it is conveniently located right off of the highway💯..., with a Walmart⭐, a Dollar tree⭐, Whataburger⭐,and a few restaurants ⭐conveniently located across the highway.💯

I remember when this place was junk It was loud and run down But I had a need for a place to stay for a week and it was the cheapest so I had to do what I had to do But I was surprised It was clean and quiet I did go to the dollar tree and get some stuff to make the room smell better but for the price it was great
