Lamplighter Inn & Suites

Stayed here for a weekend cheer comp. When I first arrived the sheets had blue sticky stuff and hair all over them. There was a mouse trap with peanut butter on it and it was very dirty. I went down stairs to ask for different bedding and they changed our room instead. That room was a bit cleaner but as I was falling asleep I heard a noise. I turned my flashlight on and there was a mouse getting into our stuff. The next morning I decided to check out and go somewhere else. The manager was very nice and insisted on getting us a room that that would need cleaned and she would inspect it before we got back. When we got back I used the bathroom and the toilet didn’t work and flooded everywhere. Went downstairs and they were going to move us rooms again. At that point I had had enough and check

It has been a long time since stayed somewhere I didn't feel comfortable or safe. Elevator and hallway look like hadn't been cleaned in years. Room was relatively clean, but sheets and what passed as bedspread looked like it was matress cover. So much so. I made call to front desk thinking they forgot to put sheets on bed. Staff was friendly, but wasn't sure of others hanging out. This was an inexpensive place which I booked because house was being painted. Booked two nights. Left as soon as possible after first one.

The manager is great, does what she can with the available resources during the remodel. Some of the staff could improve along with the consistency of pricing for extended stay. All in all if you are dissatisfied with something address it with management during the day and from my experience they try their best within their limits to help.

Positive: "" Negative: Room smelt musty, half the curtains missing, people making noise all night, couldn't charge my phone beside the bed. The rooms definitely need renovated

It was one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The lady at the desk was AWESOME!!! She gave me fantastic suggestions for places to visit that interested me(that didn't cost me a penny no less). She was very friendly and extremely personable. She had a positive up beat personality and made me immediately want to come back and stay again SOON!!! They had a free breakfast. The room was spacious and clean and the view from the 3rd floor was not bad at all. The bed was super comfortable, and had plenty of pillows. They are also pet friendly, and it's only $10 for that. I would highly recommend these accommodations to everyone. I will definitely be coming back!!!!
