Kelly is a great host! We stayed in the unit with the kitchen twice and really appreciated the amenities and cleanliness. The unit was really clean and spacious. Stayed here with our 2 young kids and the grandparents had a separate cabin in one of the other units. We shared the kitchen in our unit and it worked out great!

We wanted a bed and shower before and after going to the BWCAW. We stayed here, it was great! A very comfy, simple, unique stay in little cabins on their property in Ely. This place fit all of our needs. The rooms were clean and the owners were absolutely kind. Not expensive at all. We are very happy we stayed here. We got out of the BWCAW a day early and they were able to accommodate us moving our stay.

Stayed in a 2 Bedroom Suite/Cabin earlier this month. Perfect for a quick stay before entering BWCA. Clean, simple and cozy with pretty wood paneling giving it a lodge feel once you're inside. Double beds surprisingly comfortable. Our unit was on main road, but road noise wasn't bad once it got dark. Bathroom is small and shower stall is very old. Everything seemed clean but I still stood on a washcloth in the shower. 2 BR setup was perfect to give us and our teen some privacy. Would definitely stay there again.

A no frills, but comfortable experience. I have stayed in Ely quite a few weekends over the past year, and I've tried a multitude of hotels/motels/VRBOs. I must say, of the hotel/motels I've stayed at in Ely, this is by far the best value for money. If you are just looking for somewhere to lay your head down - comfortably - at the end of the day, this is the place to do it! My bed was comfy, the room was tidy, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Only $60 per night for one person. There are multiple windows in each room so I recommend bringing an eye mask if light bothers you.||||Going into it I had a few questions that I couldn't find answers to online, so I'll just outline them here for anyone else who might be looking!||||- Pets are allowed for a $5 fee if you are upfro

Great little place to stay the night at. Price was great and gave us what we wanted, 4 walls, a bed, and bathroom to shower in after a week in the boundary Waters. It was also pet friendly. Didn't mind it being a bit on the small side, especially for the price. Would definitely stay here again
