Lake of the Clouds Resort

We stayed in the Bear cabin and really the only negative was there was no couch, just two beds. The water does have a sulfur smell but that's outside they're control. This is a quiet location and conveniently close to the Porcupine Mountains State Park.

Our cabin was so charming! It had everything we needed. The weather got really cold, like 20 below 0°, but we were toasty and warm the whole time. We loved our cabin and it's a cool location- so close to the Porkies park. I would love to stay here again, and maybe in another season to appreciate the scenery a bit more! So cute.

Vacation, We stayed in the bear cabin was great, there was 4 of us and one dog. The cabin was beautiful and very clean there was so much to do and see it’s close to the lake. At night we could hear the water rolling it was so peaceful and extremely relaxing.The host of the cabins was very helpful and telling us places to go. She was very nice. If you have the opportunity to come and stay in these cute little cabins you should absolutely do it..

The cabin we stayed in was rustic and cozy. The lake access to Lake Superior is down the street and is not a very big beach area. However, there are alot of rocks if your rock hunter. Great location for Porcupine Mountains. The campfire area is really nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Stayed in The Lake cabin for 3 nights. It was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed, and close to Porcupine Mtn State Park and access to Lake Superior. There was plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs.||There is a sulfur smell to the water, but it was drinkable and tasted good. It could use a few updated kitchen amenities, but overall very happy with our stay there.
