Griswold's Lodge

Stayed at Griswold's in early March for 3 nights on a snowmobile trip. Great location close to trails, gas, food, and 2 bars downtown! While an older motel, it was very clean, had recent updates, and the beds were comfortable. Could hear neighbors through the walls occasionally, but everyone was very courteous. James at the office was very helpful with reservations, check-in, trailer parking, and recommendations! Would not hesitate to stay here again if I'm back in the area.

For the quality of the room and the price this is a great place and on top of it its location I think is great for snowmobiling. I can ride to copper harbor and back in a day and also ride the lake of the clouds/porcupine mountain loops combined with heading into Bruce crossing in a single day. Haven’t done the trip with ATV/utvs yet but I’m hoping to this summer.

This is a hidden gem in Michigan's U.P. Great reasonable hotel. We arrived late and were able to communicate by text. Check in was very easy with a door code. Rooms were clean and newly remodeled. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Ever pleased with everything from the start till the end!! Very pleasant people. Rooms were just what I expected. The best cleaned rooms I have seen in forever. Will definitely be back if I am here. Restaurant close stores and gas near by.

Best place to stay in town! Clean room, comfortable bed, and a very reasonable price. Staff was courteous and friendly. Accommodations were newly renovated too. Great find! Can't wait to come back.
