La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham USF (Near Busch Gardens)

Title: Decent Stay, Dust Included, and a Front Desk Attitude I Didn’t Reserve Checked into the La Quinta off Fowler and was immediately told my room wasn’t ready — even though I arrived after check‑in time. Before I could even warm up my complaint, a room magically became available. Interesting timing, but sure. Parking was easy, the building smelled fine, and housekeeping was clearly working overtime on the fourth floor, which I appreciated. My room was mostly clean, just a little dusty, and the shower came with a complimentary strand of someone else’s hair. Not exactly the amenity I was looking for, but noted. This is by far one of the best motels I have ever been to. First off, the front lobby has been renovated and is very new looking. This is also the first time a motel has given us a map of the place. The breakfast area is big and has plenty of seating and hot food. Next, the motel has a nice, smooth and quiet elevator. The room is a normal motel room size. The only downside but also can be considered a good thing is the smell of roach spray. Also, Busch Gardens is quite literally across the street.

First - hotel bed was comfortable but no breakfast or hot coffee in lobby. We came down at 7;30 am. We should have been told that when checking in. The front desk told us breakfast stayed at 6 am. She never told us it was grab and go. The grab and go bag was disappointing. A banana- warm juice box- a muffin. | |We need to return next month but thinking I will go to another hotel that offers a hot breakfast.

Positive: location to Moffitt, rooms are spacious.the breakfast is good , pool is nice and clean Negative: the carpets look bleached, the hotel hallways are dingy

The hotel looks ok on the outside but the inside is rough, the room was a bit run down, the couch was filled with stains, the rug is filled with stains as well...we stayed on the second floor, which was not an issue until we took a shower and the water would not drain, we let the front desk know and it took about 1hr n half for maintenance to come up and take care of it. This hotel really needs a remodel bad. The best thing was that it is like 10 mins away from bush gardens
