La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa Fairgrounds - Casino

We only stayed here a couple of nights to go to the casino. Upon arrival we were both greeted by someone at the front desk and a virtual kiosk, check-in went very smoothly. The first room we were given had a terrible odor, but the staff were very accommodating giving us a new room. The second room was very clean and everything worked properly. This was a good value hotel with a great location.

The lobby was hot and smelled like feet. The hotel was dated and worn out. It didn't even have a sign, and the grounds were a mess. The room was ok, but the mattresses were disgusting. The only saving grace was that the sheets were clean, and we were exhausted. The edge of one of the mattresses was uncovered, and the mattress looked like it came from a crime scene. Only 1 out of every double outlet worked. The towels were stained and unusable.

The 1980s called and want their “motel” back. To say it’s outdated would be an understatement. The street sign is non existent and the building is faded and drab. If you’re hoping to be greeted by a smiling face you’ll be happy to know you will only get it if you’re ok with speaking to a computer screen with some unknown person from God knows where on it, where all your personal information is displayed on a screen for all who stand behind you to see. The room’s furniture is straight out of the particle board movement. The room is carpeted so wear your shoes at all times. The bathroom sink is in the room like back in the 80s. The bath tub/shower was dingy and had hair on the walls. The tub was sunken in so you had to position your feet just right so not to stand in the hole. The sheets see

Extremely Pleasant Stay! The Service and Staff are Excellent! The Rooms are Nice , Clean, and Orderly. Short walking distance to two affordable restaurants and a mini mart. Pet friendly Hotel with a large ground area to walk your dog. Very Pleasant and Hard Working Staff. La Quinta Hotel strives to be even more Excellent! Thank you for my Stay. The Complimentary breakfast is Amazing!

Positive: Location Negative: Nasty carpet, bad odor, chairs were very nasty with stains, dirty towels in the room.
