La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa Brandon West

This hotel was gross, the front desk matched, and the ability to problem solve was inadequate. Toilet was running nonstop. When the back was taken off there was a visible unfixable leak. The front desk person was rude and 0 help. We checked out an hour after checking in to go to a new hotel because the room was too loud to sleep with constant running water. The manager is unreachable. Sent him an email about the issues and never heard back. Getting a refund has been a continued struggle and one you should not have to deal with on vacation. The hotel is dirty from the moment you walk in and it’s not in a great area. I do not recommend going through this experience.

It's a good place to stay if you're on a budget. The hotel does have a chemical smell in the halls and the rooms. But I recommend airing the room out by the window for a few hours, it cleared it up for me. There are ambient noises... meaning the refrigerator makes sounds periodically. You should also turn the internal bathroom light off because it sounds like a hair dryer is on. The bed was good. They encouraged quiet as a courtesy to all guests. The staff was polite. While there are restaurants and stores around, having transportation is recommended in this area.

Positive: I rate based on the price of the room. It was great for the price. Negative: I checked in on Friday evening and was told breakfast ends at 10:00 AM. I missed Monday breakfast because I was not told it ends at 9:00 AM on weekdays.

This is a convenient location. Older property that is maintained well. Efficient staff. Room & bathroom were very clean but there were a few insects/bugs [4 to be exact] I dealt with during our overnight stay. Priced fairly and will provide a comfortable stay. Breakfast was no frills, sufficient, in a small,crowded area. Staff served holiday travelers sufficiently

I really like this hotel. It’s very quiet, with no unpleasant odors. The rooms are well cleaned and prepared before check-in. There are no bed bugs or cockroaches. The coffee in the morning is good. Breakfast is available, although I don’t usually eat in the mornings. I stay here three to five times a week. Highly recommended.
