La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Springfield MA

I stayed at LaQuinta Inn&Suites 2/13/26 for 2 nites. Check in was very easy. Front desk clerk Esha is a doll. Very helpful, explained everything we needed to know. We rented the deluxe 2 queen beds room. Room was spacious but bathroom is tight. Room was comfortable but furniture is a bit outdated. Little mold around the borders in the bathroom but great shower. First set of towels were very flimsy like they came from the Dollar tree but 2nd set the next day were bigger. We hung our clothes in the closet and next morning we heard a loud boom. It was the clothing rack in the closet just suddenly detached from the wall and knocked our clothes on the floor so now we had nowhere to hang our coats and clothes. All in all we did enjoy our stay. Stayed at La Quinta in Springfield exhibiting at Equine Affaire at the Big E. Super location, room had everything we needed. I had many items for the event sent directly to the hotel. Nyah (on the front desk) had everything ready for me when I arrived. She was very helpful throughout our stay. When it was time to go, Robert brought scales to the lobby so we could weigh our luggage to make sure we were under the limit. Flying in to trade shows isn't easy but Nyah and Robert did a great job making our stay very enjoyable.

Positive: The beds are very comfortable. The front desk staff always professional and polite. Rooms are very clean. Negative: The bathroom is small and cramped. Toilet is too low to the floor. Water pressure in shower very weak.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and overall my experience has been pleasant. The majority of the staff are polite, welcoming, and very helpful. Housekeeping does a great job, and the daytime front desk employees are always professional and courteous. However, there is one night shift female staff member who consistently has an attitude every time I check in. I’m not sure what the issue is, as I’ve never had any prior interaction with her outside of booking my stays. I treat staff with respect and simply expect the same in return. Unfortunately, her demeanor comes across as unfriendly and unwelcoming, which is disappointing considering how professional the rest of the team is. This is the friendlies staff I have ever come across at a hotel. We were welcomed as we walked in the door. The front desk staff was quick and accomodating. The bartender was simply a delight and her drinks were fantastic. The housekeeping staff was attentive and thorough. If my travels ever bring me back to Springfield we will definitely be staying here again.
