La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Portland NW

This was overall a fantastic stay in Portland. It's a bit out of the way, but not a big deal if you are driving here. I wouldn't stay here if I was flying in/taking public transit. With plenty of free parking available, it's not a problem since you'll be driving all over the city anyways. We mainly chose this location due to their dog friendly policies. No charge for your dog is an amazing amenity perk. That alone elevated it above other options in PDX. The hotel seems to have been renovated within the past few years. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's located in an industrial wasteland, but don't let that worry you. Casa Diablo is right near by if you want to spice up your life. Everything else is just a short drive away. The parking lot was occupied by several randoms

Positive: "" Negative: The first room I was given smelled liked mildew. I was allowed to switch rooms and i appreciated that. However, the bed was rock hard and did not sleep well as a result. Continental breakfast was good 👍🏼

Perfect location for our stop over. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms was spotlessly clean and was a comfortable place to rest our heads for the night. It had everyone we needed including breakfast which makes the morning so much easier. Can not beat rios place anywhere for the money!

I had a pleasant stay at this Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was good throughout my stay. Breakfast was decent, though the options were quite limited. Considering the price, everything felt reasonable and good value for money. The location is not very convenient, so having a car is definitely necessary. That said, overall it was a good experience, and I was satisfied with the stay.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! Contessa checked me in and was the very best part of my stay! She was super professional and accommodating. She Always had breakfast ready a few minutes early and the coffee and hot water were always fresh. She even goes the extra mile to put napkins between the plates at breakfast. I’ve stayed at a lot of Wyndham hotels and usually choose LaQuinta when possible. I’ve never had such a great experience.
