La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lexington South / Hamburg

We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) and originally booked through Expedia, which apparently is inaccurate in describing rooms as our originally booked room fit up to 4, not 5. However, the front staff, Kristina, was great and was able to provide us with adjoining rooms in no time so we can get sleep for the night. The rooms were renovated and well maintained. The only thing we disliked is a funny smell at breakfast, but we otherwise enjoyed our stay and appreciate the supportive staff.

Last minute decision to stop in Lexington. Checked reviews on several hotels in the area. This hotel had several good reviews so I picked this one. Easy check-in. Nice, clean room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked new and clean. Decent breakfast with several options. Great price too!

Positive: Most of the staff is very friendly, the continental breakfast was great and the room was very nice. Negative: Yes on the second night here, my toilet got stopped up and I was told that I, a disabled woman getting ready for spinal surgery, was told I needed to come get the plunger and do it myself. First of all, a guest should never have to do any maintenance.

Excellent stay! Staff was top notch at check in & check out. Really nice modern room & amenities. (Room 130) Had everything we needed. Fridge, microwave, in room coffee & more. Comfortable bed & pillows. Very spacious with modern living room. Full continental breakfast with lots of choices. Hot biscuits & gravy, sausages, hot waffles, muffins, cereal and more. Dining area was clean, quiet and well organized. Hotel was quiet, safe, & dog friendly. Definitely going on my favorites list, to stay again!

My reviews are tough but let me say I have found a hidden gem, I absolutely did. I live in hotels 365 days a year and this one by far is tops on my list. From the management down to the breakfast lady we received 5 star service. Reasonably priced it exceeded all expectations being a Wyndham hotel by the absolutly spotless rooms a d hotel. I honestly thought was a brand new hotel but turns out its been around for over 20 years. Thank you staff for reviving my excitement for the hotel life
