La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Smith

Was looking forward to a wonderful stay since we stayed at a La Quinta in Gallup New Mexico. This was probably one of the worst hotels I stayed at on my trip. The outside appearance was acceptable but as soon as you walked into the hotel you could see that it was poorly maintained and very unclean. The lobby was okay but as soon as you walked into the hallways, elevator, and room it was disgusting. The elevator operating license was expired on August 31, 2025 and we stayed there on November 22, 2025. The carpet needed replacing and the walls were not clean. The hotel staff was not professional and didn't even ask how our stay was upon check out. The housekeeping was not in any identifiable uniforms so you didn't know if they were staff or just regular guests. My husband and I didn't even

I stayed 3 nights for free as a Wyndham Diamond member with reward points. They charged me 25.00 dollars. I called and ask what this charge was and they did not know. I have disputed this with American Express. I stayed 3 nights. Not once housekeeping came and refreshed anything. I did not leave a sign on the door either. The snacks in the lobby can not be billed to the room. They use an iPad to charge you. On the credit card statement for the snacks show L.Q. Looks like a side gig they have going on since it can not be charged to the room. I guess I should’ve has just stayed at Wyndham like I always do. On a good note, the location is perfect with so much food options.

Room was decent, But bathroom wasn't flushing properly and shower wasn't either. Made complaint only to find out the person I spoke with to Reserve our room was a third party vendor, I asked when I called if I was speaking with the front desk at Ft. Smith location, Person said yes ,he lied. Hotel could not reimburse me due to third party taking payment. I was told by front desk to contact my Card company. I was supposed to receive an e-mail confirmation and receipt, I never did. Nice Hotel beware of who you are reserving your room through. Number on Google search was incorrect number it went to a third party called Reservation. Com.

The only reason I’m giving this a 3 star is because it’s pet friendly , rooms seem clean . However our room was only cleaned about 2 and we were there for about 7 days . On the 2nd to last day I got bit by something and when I explained it to the front desk , she said they can’t do anything because we didn't see an actual bug and since we had been staying there for 7 days and nothing happened that it must not have been from there and that maybe it was an allergic reaction to something that I ate . I have never been allergic to anything. It sucks because this was on vacation that our in laws paid for. All they offered was so switch our room , why would I be comfortable staying in another room when I got some sort of bite . Overall experience wasn’t great . We ended up packing and just check
