La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DFW Airport South / Irving

Came up to do some Shopping/ Sightseeing. Only one trash can in the room ( could use one more). Shower curtain was a bit too short width wise so water got on the floor. Inconvenient placement of hand soap. Makes sharing a bathroom not easy. Need something other than hard boiled eggs. We were looking for scrambled. There was a variety of cereal and waffle making batter. Staff was friendly and rooms are nice.

This was a comfortable, convenient place to stay during an overnight layover. The shuttle came after I called the hotel to notify them of my arrival at the airport. I was able to schedule the return trip in the morning with the front desk. Breakfast options were okay. It's about a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Amazing value and friendly, professional staff. Front desk staff Eli and Al plus Ms. Jackson are all amazing. Sadly even the new rooms leave room for improvement. The overall property is undergoing renovations so hopefully time will tell and things improve including the pool area. Great location, easy to get everywhere in the metroplex and extremely close to DFW. The breakfast could be refreshed and updated, as well as extended hours. However it is always a consistent and convenient option to start the day.

Decent hotel for the price. The elevator had a weird burnt oil smell that carried into the floor hallways and my wife and I got stuck in the elevator for about 5 minutes, kept calling the front desk and getting put on hold, which was rather annoying. The room was decent, bed was comfortable and pillows okay. Dark room, which was nice.
