La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas North Central

Positive: Everything about this hotel was perfect from the staff to the cleanliness of the entire room and the building. Absolutely no bed bugs and the location is also ideal. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Negative: Not one thing that I can think of.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, and I truly feel bad giving a one-star rating, but my experience recent night was unfortunately very disappointing. I want to start by saying that the staff member I spoke with at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and I appreciate her making a note when I raised concerns. That said, the condition of the hotel itself was not acceptable. The elevators were not working, which was especially concerning because I was staying in an Accessible Room on the 4th floor. While this may not impact every guest, it could be a serious issue for anyone relying on accessibility accommodations, especially when the hotel is full. The bathroom was also in very poor condition. This place is super difficult to get in to the parking lot because they have one of two driveways blocked off. My sister's room had a leaking ceiling, they moved her easily though when we reported it. They only have one very slow elevator. The staff are friendly and do a good job. The breakfast is decent.

Friendly staff but I requested tissues twice and never received any. I had to use a stack of napkins from the coffee bar. Facility is in need of updating. Good location to interstate but maybe not in the best area. The price was a good value.

Awful. I arrived after being dropped off from the airport and was greeted by a receptionist who seemed irritated to even be there—no smile, no warmth, just a monotone “how can I help you.” Although the room was prepaid by my employer, she insisted on a credit card and told me I would be charged until I explained that the room was pre-authorized. After staring at her computer for several minutes, she printed a receipt and handed it to me. When I asked if she found the pre-authorization, her only response was “yes.” No explanation, no apology. The elevator near the front desk was broken, and most of the ice machines on the floors were out of service. The gym has no weights at all. The pool was filthy and in complete disarray.
