La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Round Rock

This hotel claims to be a 3.5-star property, but it is far worse than most motels. I would rate it 1 star at best. I stayed for just one night, and the experience was terrible from the moment I arrived. Generally, La Quinta hotels on the East Coast are very good, which is why this was so disappointing. As soon as I entered the parking lot, the exterior already looked poorly maintained. When I went inside, both elevators stopped working at the same time, and I was assigned a room on the 3rd floor. The room itself was unacceptable. There was a very strong, unpleasant smell that made it impossible to sleep and small insects in restroom. I honestly felt that sleeping in my car would have been a better option. The hallway also smelled bad. I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never experien

I had stayed here before and everything was great. Last night was the worst. My room was infested with tiny roaches. I had to clean my suitcase before leaving. I figured it out at 3am when I turned on light to go to the restroom. I couldn't even eat bkfast there. It honestly disgusted me. Never staying here again.

Had an amazing stay and experience at this location. Staid for over a week. Room was clean and very comfortable. My family and I were homeless at the time and they made us feel warm and welcome! David and Brandy went out of their way to help us in so many ways! Very professional and helpful! I highly recommend this property! Breakfast was great and coffee was always fresh.

Definitely a great place to stop for the night. I'm sure once road construction is complete, it will be easy and close to many restaurants. Close to I10 as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This establishment did not gouge us for having our pets with us. We also appreciated the tile floors in the rooms which was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and we felt very safe. Breakfast was good, we had, bacon and a cheese omelet with a plain bagle and the coffee (available 24/7) was very good. We will definitely stop here again on our return trip.
