La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport

I had no issues with my stay. The hotel room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was within walking distance of a convenience store. The shuttle does not run all day, but it worked for my needs and got me to the airport for my flight. The staff was kind and quickly got me checked in and scheduled my shuttle. The breakfast was fine, it served my needs. If I need to stay near the airport again, I will most likely comeback.

Rooms: pillows are hard. Bathtubs are old. Service: at checkin the room keys did not work. We waited a long time until the desk attendant came after trying 2 sets and accommodated us in a new room. This morning we had very courteous service. Location: could not be better. Great shuttle service to airport as well. The second room was very loud though.

Nice updated room. Friendly front desk. Adequate breakfast. Good coffee.  Bed had dog hair on sheets. Shower had hair in it. Hair dryer was filthy & sticky from old hair spray? It was gross.

Positive: very clean overall, good location close to the airport and not far from Downtown, easy to get in an out, ample parking and well lighted..very good coffee. Spacious room. Negative: The shower /tub needs to be updated. Caulking has mold all around. Breakfast has limited choices. one choice of small yogurt and only small apples for fruit ..

Property looks renovated but you can see it’s an older hotel that still has the older AC machines, need to pull the doors shut, needs a bit of fixing, etc. Room was clean and of good size. Breakfast is decent with waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bread, fruits, cereal, etc. The guy that checked us in was very dry and transactional while the lady that checked us out was warm and friendly. Overall, it’s a good value minutes away from the airport.
