La Quinta Inn by Wyndham West Palm Beach - Florida Turnpike

I had a terrible experience staying at the La Quinta Inn, and I honestly can't recommend it. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel was not in good shape. First, the room was filthy—mold in the window, hair in the bed, stained sheets, and the floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned. It felt like the room had only been half-cleaned, which is completely unacceptable. The hotel also had major issues with communication. There was conflicting information about transportation between the secondary booking service and the hotel, which left us confused and frustrated. We took an Uber, but would not have stayed in the hotel if transportation wasn’t provided. We ended up having to change rooms because the first one was so bad, but the second room wasn’t significantly better. What made

I felt the room was way too cold . It was on 65 when we went in & even at 71 I had to get my blanket from the car . It looks like renovations are being done nicely . I know everyone likes different things but I need a medium mattress . Not too firm or too soft . That’s just our opinion . The sink could be raised up as well. You really need to stoop over to wash hands & brush teeth . Also with socks on the floor felt slippery but barefoot they felt a bit damp . Maybe a dehumidifier could help . Unsure if pets are allowed here but I itched all night . Perhaps pet dander or a soap allergy . Truly everyone here is great & it’s a quiet place to stay . We never make comments ; we thought these might help in renovating the LaQuinta .

Simply the worst hotel room that I have ever stayed in...and I've been in many. It would take me too long to list all of the problems, but here are just a few: No hot water in sink Toilet wouldn't flush (had to manually operate tank) The room was tiny...and looked like it hadn't been updated in decades Not a single chair in the room (had to sit on bed) Not worth staying...at any price.

My room was canceled the day of my stay, with no explanation or care. I spoke with Gabriel and was told that my reservation for the night was good but they could not accommodate any extension of my stay. The front desk acted like the guy didn’t even work there and I must’ve called somewhere else. Used the number right there and their front desk phone rang. When she finally called Gabriel, he denied saying I still had a room. He just kept saying ’In house’ and defending himself with lies about our conversation. Employees of the hotel offered no explanation or any other help. ‘We called and refunded your money’ is all they would say. No apologies or empathy or attempt at making the situation better.
