La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Marcos

I'm pretty comfortable here. It's quite, the room is clean. The front desk personal are very nice. Only thing. Bring your own pillows. These are flat. 😆 also they are dog friendly.

Positive: Location to restaurants Negative: Dead roaches on the floor. Mold in the freezer. Spider webs in the kitchenette. The lobby of the hotel looks really nice, but the room didn’t look like the pictures on the website.

This is a Motel not a Hotel to start with. The furniture was broken and about to fall apart. We were afraid to put anything on the table. The shower is covered in mold. The mini- fridge is just on a table out in the room, wasn’t cold and made a horrible noise all night. Half the lights in the room don’t work. The bed and pillows were some of the worst I have been on.

Absolutely disgusting. Room smells like urine and mold. Air conditioning works great but emits moldy smell. Carpet was sticky and gross. Headboards were filthy. Found weed in dresser and open yogurt in mini fridge. Bathroom has obviously never been cleaned and had mold and rust everywhere, shower curtain stained, toilet not even wiped down. Turndown service does not change out bed sheets- same blood stained fitted sheet was left on. Facility ice machine is in similar shape- filthy and moldy smell. This place is a health hazard. Breakfast is not at all as pictured. Same thing every day: pancakes, egg rounds, sausage links, toast, bagels, mini muffins, pre packaged bagels, yogurt, oj & apple juice. No fresh fruit offered, fridge with yogurt & milk is filthy and smells like spoiled milk. Coff

Online on several websites it says they provide free cribs/cots for babies. Wrong. And when we walked in there a STRONG scent of cleaning alcohol and sweet rust— like the smell of a car radiator going out. Not to mention underneath the desk we had in our room, there was several dead crickets. I wouldn’t recommend. Only good thing is it being near the shopping outlets.
