La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Huntsville Research Park

The staff at this location were extremely friendly, polite and courteous but most of all genuinely joyful! I’m usually skeptical to stay where the rooms open directly outside, however, the outer appearance of this La Quinta was clean, maintained and peaceful. There was a 2nd floor door that led straight inside to the main lobby for breakfast which was a nice plus for those staying in the 2nd floor and especially for those (like us) with small children! The rooms themselves were a wonderful surprise! Inside the rooms felt like a 5-Star hotel! Modernized decor, upscale bathrooms, and extremely clean! I am a very tedious person when it comes to cleaning and I was very impressed! Unfortunately, I sadly had to knock off one Star (ok…. 1/2 Star) due to the lack of water pressure. Thankfully,

Easy 5 Star rating for our stay. Beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are modern, clean and beds comfortable. Quality soap and shampoos to boot. We so appreciated they were pet friendly with minimal fee of $25 and that parking was right outside our motel room door.

Overall, the property was well maintained and very clean. I stayed in Room 208, which was spotless upon arrival. The décor was somewhat modern and pleasant. There was a noticeable aroma of curry in the room; while it was not overpowering, it was present. I later realized this was likely due to the room’s location directly across from an Indian cuisine restaurant. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and welcoming, which made for a positive first impression. We woke up in time for breakfast, though the available options were fairly limited, consisting mainly of waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, and fruit. After checking out, we departed without issue. Despite the minor drawbacks, my overall experience was positive, and I would consider staying at this property again in the future.

The room was spotless and featured fresh, modern furnishings. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and they handled our request promptly and without any issues. The only downside was the shower—water pressure was very poor. I get better flow from the low-pressure, water-saving showerhead in my camper, which is designed to conserve water. Aside from that, it’s a great property and I would still recommend it.

Positive: The showers were extremely clean and the room as a whole was tidy. Negative: A few strands of hair were found in my towels from time to time. Just double-check on the cleanliness of them.
