La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Austin South / I-35

Room was quite clean, no dust or stains anywhere. There was a strong cigarette smell in the room even though there is a "no smoking" policy. The beds were comfortable and there was a microwave and fridge provided. Considering this was the cheapest option to stay; it was not bad at all. Only stairs up to the 2nd floor and none of the staff offered to help me with my 2 big suitcases. Overall quick and easy short term accommodation. It's also on the I-35 which can get you anywhere you want to go easily.

Extremely dirty, photos do not match the website, unprofessional staff, unhygienic, noisy, badly located. Firstly, they have not updated the address on their website, which led my taxi driver to bring me to the wrong location. The reception is extremely untidy, there were wires and random boxes everywhere, the rug upon entrance was dirty. The pool was filthy and unusable (a brown color with floating dirt) although it appears to be open on the website. I stayed here for 4 nights and my towels were not changed once (I had to ring reception and go down in person to get new ones), and the room was not cleaned once, floors were sticky, even the bedsheets were stained. I felt very unsafe here, checking in by myself, I was told to walk around to the back of the building to access my room in the

The staff at the front desk were very very friendly!!! That is where the good ended. This place is a dump and nothing as it looks online. Filthy is being kind. The smoke alarm was actually in the drawer. We paid and brought our items in and shortly after we packed up and left. We simply did not want to stay. Owners and upper management need to take responsibility because they have a very nice staff but don't give them anything to work with. Highly disappointed

I stayed here in between looking for a new apartment and I had a very good experience! My rooms(I had multiple) were always clean and if I needed something the staff took care of it quickly. I had my kids with me and they loved it! Their breakfast selection was nice and they made sure to make my stay as comfortable as possible, dont let the slightly rough outside fool you the inside is great and they are fixing it up outside! I would def recommend this hotel to anyone traveling or needing somewhere to stay. Its decently priced and worth the stay. 😁

If you love your life. Health is wealth. This place is a No NO. This hotel needs to be shut down by the City. The pictures are totaling different from what you see. I got to this hotel, the room smelled horrible, I couldn’t breathe. The mattress had insects, flies flying all over the room, the toilet did not flush, pool had swampy stagnant water. The environment is so dirty. As a healthcare professional, I knew better and had to check out. I made a payment of $228 for 2 rooms. The front desk informed that I would be refunded, till date no refund was made. Don’t make same mistake, this place is a total mess, not the standard of la Quinta that was in the picture. N.B I had to check into another hotel which cost me more, but better than waking up to being sick or with swollen arms from bites.
