Knights Inn Ashland

Horrible experience, room was ridiculously dirty. Hole’s in the wall, dust everywhere. Honestly creeped me out. I couldn’t sit on the bed. Especially at the rate of $70. I literally had to ask for a refund and went next door for 74$ where I enjoyed my stay. The lady at desk tried to lie and say I was there for 2 hours. Literally walked in room and walked out smh. Room 223 upstairs

Positive: The location off the highway was great. Negative: The room was very dirty, the tub was so dirty, I wouldn?t use it. The toilet seat was hanging off. The smoke detector kept beeping every 30 seconds for the whole night. I would never stay here again.

We were driving home from Florida and used the I-95 route this time due to weather reports of snow along I-77 and I-81. We wanted to break up the trip and were looking for a hotel with outside corridors due to Covid-19. The front desk clerk was very nice. The first room was on the ground floor but the key cards did not open the room door. We were redirected to a room on the second floor. One of the beds was missing the headboard but we thought it would still be OK for one night. I pulled the covers down to check for dirt and bugs. The supposedly clean bedding had hairs on the sheets. Next thing was no toilet paper in the bathroom. After another trip to the front desk, we had a roll. There was a used tissue plus hair and dirt behind the bathroom door and the tub did not look very

Keep in mind this is an ECONOMY HOTEL. No inside hallways. The room was clean and well sized. Lights, ac, etc all worked correctly. No lobby to speak of, no on room coffee makers. Bed was so-so on comfort. Although there was a bit of traffic outside the window of the room, it wasn't bad. We were able to park directly in front of our room, which was a plus. If you wanted a CLEAN/BUG FREE ROOM, you got it. If you want fancy with extras, go to a different hotel. At 60/night with taxes, it's very affordable. TRU HOTEL NEXT DOOR charges 180+/night.

This was the cheapest hotel my boyfriend and I could get, so I didn't expect anything great, but it was much better than anticipated. There was a working microwave, tv, fridge and freezer, towels, soaps etc. Other than the floor being a little dirty, it was comfortable for what we needed! The staff was very nice and understanding. And This is one of the only hotels that would let us stay at 18 years old instead of 21! I promise I'm not a trucker, and I found the other reviews kinda silly, as you're paying dirt cheap, and this is one of the better hotels! Hot water showers too! I mean, you get what you pay for, it's certainly not luxury, but it's a nice place to rest after a long trip :)
