Perfect place to stay when Phish comes to Birmingham. Really sketchy motel. The employees enjoy their smoke break in the ice room. 🤣 At least the room had a deadbolt lol.

This place is beyond feral! Worst part first - smashed toilets in the pool! No joke they had no water in the pool, don't get fooled by the website picture of the lovely pool. They must have been renovating back in the last century and threw all the old toilets in the pool. The rooms were wrong on so many levels! It smelt like mold, looked like the 70s, beds were as hard as a rock. I would not stay in this place again even if you paid me, the neighborhood is not nice, has a homeless shelter next door where they all handout in the street. Its a decent walk to the city center and I would not do so at night!

I was afraid the rooms would be dirty, given the hotel's rating, but it was cleaner than most other hotels I've been in. I definitely wouldn't say it's a PERFECT hotel; the location is fairly dated, but I felt comfortable in the rooms and on the beds. No bedbugs!

Hotel is ok. The fridge in the room had the smell of some sort of cleaning agent, making everything I placed in it 😂 taste like it. The lady at the front desk will not give you a roll of toilet paper 😁 even if you beg her🤣 She will literally make you wait on 🏠 keeping so make sure you have your own extra toilet paper.
