My Reviews 0 helpful votes 2025 October King City Motel by OYO Pasco 1/5 Terrible had booked online at the last minute as I had a flight the next day and the property seemed close to the airport. To check in, the motel office is in a convenience store across a dark parking lot. When I opened the room door I was not expecting much, and was not surprised by the shabby furnishings. I wanted to sleep and get out of the room early. Minutes later there was loud clanging sounds of hammering on metal. Parked outside the door was an old pickup with a homemade plywood camper with a guy banging on some pipes for an hour. Worse still, there were dozens of disgusting houseflies swarming the room. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! Picture this: You make a booking online. You are vending at back to back events over the weekend. You know that you are going to be late, because your event ends at 9pm and it’s a 3-4 hour drive to the next one so you reach out to the property to let them know. It gets approved, “we look forward to seeing you during your stay!”. You feel better seeing your check in time change to the Midnight-1am arrival time instead of the normal “after 4pm”. You’re set. Fast forward to the end of your journey. You get to the property at just before 1 am. You come in and say “I have a booking for “name”, we finally made it!” And you get “we full sorry.” ….. you are confused and think maybe they don’t speak clear English so you pull out your phone and reservat

Part2 !!! Well it’s been 3 weeks now going for the month and I have not received my refund or any call back from them. Once I called back they said the same thing. That out team is currently working on it. I don’t get it how slow or if they are even doing anything about it. And the thing is I need the money for a hotel room. It’s so embarrassing even calling back. It’s outrageous. Still waiting for someone to do something about it I have placed a booking over the phone and they charged me also over the phone But when I arrived the rude lady in the desk after she took a long time to come and help me Told me she had no room and that she had called the company to tell them. And said they took care of it when they didn’t. Instead of calling again she made a face and started to do something

I didn't stay overnight. Walked in. Walked out within 30 minutes. Was refused a refund of more than $76.00. You could've held a gun to my hand and robbed me. But this is the route KING CITY OYO decided to resolve a customer service nightmare. Swarms of flies. Cock roaches. Smelly perfumed room. Thin walls that blasted in every guests conversation and more.

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY ARE BAD. I booked online but then my friend became ill so we couldn't stay at the hotel, and I cancelled before the cancellation date but they still charged me the full amount. I called them and emailed them and they said based on some policy, which I never saw, they wouldn't be able to refund me. If I would have seen the policy then I wouldn't have booked here. DO NOT BOOK HERE AND DO NOT STAY HERE!!! AND I HEAR IT'S A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD AND A BAD, LOW QUALITY HOTEL!!! STAY AWAY.
