Customer Reviews
How you rate the hotel really depends on if you were just looking for an inexpensive room, or an extended stay with a kitchen. As an inexpensive hotel, My Place is a great hotel. Excellent location. The rooms are in good condition. The bed is very comfortable. The price is excellent. I would recommend it. But if you are looking for an "extended stay" hotel with the ability to cook and use the kitchenette, this is not the hotel you want to book. They do not supply any pots, pans, dishes, or silverware. Making the kitchenette pointless. Other than having a full sized fridge. I booked this needing an extended stay location, and would not book it again.
My Family and I have been here for most of the month of July. And we love it here. It really does feel like My Place. They have clean spacious rooms, with a full size refrigerator/freezer combo, which makes it really nice to stock up for a week or too, unlike other hotels that only provide you a tiny refrigerator minus the freezer. The staff is amazing, they all treat us well. Last but not least, my favorite is the shower pressure, their shower pressure is the best. I’ve been to several hotels in the last few months and it’s awful to have to wash your hair and can’t get the shampoo out because the lack of pressure. So thank you for having a comfortable clean place to stay. I recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a place to stay, especially a long stay!!!
Smelly rooms 🤢 My room had a strong dog smell and my coworker also said that his room smelled like feet. The staff sprayed an air refresher but it only masked the smell for 5min. We couldn't get other rooms because the placed was completely booked and the hotels around were in the same situation. The hotel has kitchenette in room so it might be convenient if you are staying in town for a few days, but if you're in a businesses trip for one night go to a Best Western; better, cleaner, cheaper and include breakfast. I paid 125 per night (BW) vs 202.50 in My Place.
My Place was a great place to stay. We called to ask what we might need to better our stay with having the kitchenette. Melissa gave us some great pointers, which made life wonderful for our long weekend stay. The rooms are nice and clean the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly!
