InTown Suites Extended Stay Select Charlotte NC - University

I have been here since November 2024. Honestly, this place is what you make it! I have EVERYTHING I need and access to all major highways. During spring summer and fall, pest control comes frequently. But, you can’t expect perfect when you don’t know other people’s habits. Concerns are addressed immediately! I will say the internet was an issue. When I first arrived it was intermittent. I did my research and got my own. Not really a big deal. I work from home often and it just made sense. I don’t plan on staying forever but it is serving me well for now! The office staff are THE BEST! Even the rotating ones are friendly and helpful. (I don’t give five star reviews because nothing is perfect, but this place is great!)

Don't do it. Heed the warnings in the comments. I only gave it two stars for the maintenance and front desk worker. This dump doesn't deserve the friendly and prompt service they provide. The Non smoking rooms absolutely reek of stale cigarettes and old sweat. My clothes, pillows, purse are permeated with this stench. I'm going to have to spend a lot of money at a laundromat trying to get rid of this odor. Just a Dingy, horrible smell. I tried using the dresser, but the particle board drawers are warped with what looks like water damage. However, the linens were clean, and so was the room despite the disrepair. I'm by no means a squeamish girl, but German cockroaches are a hard pass. I didn't see tons of them, but enough to be concerned about infestation in or on your own personal items. E

This was a decent hotel for the price. Hasn't been renovated and all rooms are smoking so was a plus for me. New to the area so trying it out until I can find an affordable place to live. Front desk personnel was very nice and helpful. She explained everything up front and allowed me to check out the room before I paid.

The walls in my room were dirty and there were bugs crawling out of every corner of the room and ceiling. It just made the experience very uncomfortable. Slow WiFi. No vallet trash or luggage carts. Only giving 2 stars because the employees were polite and the location was pretty safe. Otherwise, this place isn't worth the amount of money they care to stay here.

Hi everyone currently I am a guest and my most important features of the room is a clean, safe environment. I also need working restroom and water. The lights also have to be substantial and no entry to my room without permission!
