InTown Suites Extended Stay Dallas TX - Garland

Had a pleasant, easy, quick check in and received a first floor updated room as requested due to having a baby. Very grateful for that and the staff for being accommodating and professional. Only issue is that at check in our room was filthy and we had to mop our floors twice and the mop water was black from cigarette ashes/not being cleaned in a long time. It constantly smells like cigarette smoke so we had to go rewash our clothes, keep our clothes in totes and spray ozium spray. So far it’s very lit up and quiet at night. No bugs in our room. I would recommend this property over budget suites. If the cigarette smoke issue is dealt with in a timely fashion, I’d love to give five stars.

I didnt get the displeasure of getting a room here because even though I had booked my room a week in advance they had no rooms available. I was then charged a 40 dollar cancellation fee. I called to inform them of the error and no one answered. I left a voicemail and no one called me back. I called several more times and finally got ahold of someone just to be told to call back later. Im done at this point. They can keep the money. Do not stay here.

We booked through "Booking" which we have had great success with in the past. However, their web site for the location is totally misleading. Armed with a confirmed reservation we arrived late Friday afternoon after a long six hour drive in constant rain and fog. The young lady behind the reception desk told me our reservation was no good as they only accept weekly stays -- NO DAILY RENTALS! She called her manager and it was still a "NO". She would not even allow me to use the restroom and I am am old guy that can't wait! I called "booking" and within 5 minutes they had her straightened out and we were allowed to check in for the weekend. They web site advertises "pet friendly". They are not. Honestly I checked into a room freshly painted with new tile like flooring a nice big flat screen tv larger than 37 inches sheets and bedding linen look new sure forget is ugly and old the dressers are pretty old the mattresses are new pretty tick and comfy AC and heater works got my closet to hand stuff by entrance new microwave table and chair are decent super dusty but a good clean it will do the towels are huge and new with nice bath mat and 4 hand towels I found a dead bug but nothing else so I am giving them 4 stars the lady at check in was phenomenal my remote was out I called she came within less than 2 minutes when customers or guest walk into the office she addresses us at Mr last name or Miss last name I totally love and respect people who are nice and respectful so to my 55+ mi

This place is good for the price, the people here complaining are probably just upset because they didn’t follow the rules and got kicked out. Overall, everything is fine here. Especially for the price. The service and staff are great. They keep this place pretty clean for the type of hotel it is.
