Inn at Orangeburg

Warning! Yes, this awful place is definitely under construction and that is their excuse when they call you in the middle of a family reunion to tell you your entire room is flooded and you need to head back to move rooms. My entire suitcase of clothes filled with water. Moved to a different room, a tiny room for 3 from our two bedroom suite. Then moved again to another suite. I guess they were tired of my complaining. No pool, in or out, no breakfast, no coffee maker in the room..AND!!! Not a hint of a refund for our trouble or ruined clothes and suitcase . It was promised, but now that we are back in Ga… conversation is the same.. “we have no manager here to help you.” Absolutely ridiculous and pathetic. Luckily, I will be back in town soon and I will be heading to this awful sh

One of the worst experiences ever with a hotel. No coffee maker in the room. No dirty clothes bags in the room. No working ice machines in the hotel. No continental breakfast. Booked for two nights and now we are considering relocating to a different hotel.

Beware…..Don’t look the checkin lady directly in the eyes. An elderly polite woman check in before me and was treated like she just bought toilet paper. I was next and thought to give NO small talk to the judge and jury behind the counter and gave her advance info for 2 room keys to help speed up her transaction. She sternly said she’ll ask me that question later. Worst room in a long time. No clock by the bed or electrical sockets for my parents to use their CPAP machines. No coffee machine and therefore no cups either. The pool is also Closed. At least 5 other better hotels right next door to choose from.

Our spacious room was absolutely beautiful and spotless. I truly think that were the first people in that room. They took us on 0 notice because our previous arrangements were substandard so our agent contacted the Inn and the rest is history.

Lots of things were down or not operational due to the updates the hotel was trying to implement, but my experience was made wonderful because of Nikia.Nikia was the front desk staff and she was great. She was pleasant, hospitable, and accommodating. My husband and I appreciated her service during our stay.
