Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown

Had a great first time in Tampa, and glad I chose Hyatt Downtown for my first stay. Was welcomed with a big smile from everyone on the front desk (not only the gentlemen that was taking care of me), location is of walking distance to many fine eats, drinks, activities, and more. The rooms were very well kept and had everything I needed. Breakfast was included as well although I only stoped by for a coffee and some fruits everything looked tasty. My only complaint is that I had paid extra for the valet parking to be included during my stay and I was still charged for both nights. I wouldn't have even realized if I didn't look through my recieipt and see that I was charged. However, after a quick call to the front desk the issue was resolved.

The staff were wonderful, helpful, and kind at this location. We were offered early check in for a small fee after a red eye flight and that made such a huge difference for us! If early check in wasn't an option we could have left our bags with the valet desk. Breakfast was great and the attendants were attentive. It's the first Hyatt place in years that used real dishes for the breakfast. The rooftop deck was a comfortable place to hang out and the pool was clean, but Arctic cold! Me and my kids did the polar plunge and then laid out in the super warm sun (sun only shines later afternoon). Close walk to the Riverwalk and Haddicks Trolley station. We stayed at Hyatt Place Tampa Downtown from December 28th to 30th and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The room was spotless and very well maintained. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the valet team as well, super efficient, friendly, and made parking completely stress-free. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, and all public areas were exceptionally clean. The location is perfect, close to everything downtown, making it easy to walk or quickly get to restaurants, attractions, and waterfront spots. Overall, a fantastic stay. Thank you to the entire team. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Will return.||Hyatt House Tampa Downtown is a pleasant and efficient hotel in a convenient location.||I had never stayed at a Hyatt House before—this one is wonderful, from the location to the lobby and the room. The lattice screens add a touch of elegance. Coffee & tea are available 24/7.||The room is nicely laid out.
