Hyatt Place Nashville / Brentwood

This hotel was clean, conveniently located for quick Uber to Green Hills and/or Downtown Nashville. The staff, specifically Chris at the front desk, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfast was good (typical hotel buffet style). Room was spacious with couch and great TV and really nice, big Shower. Bathroom was very tight though with door so close to toilet that you had to be mindful of your feet when closing the door. There was NO freezer in the little mini-fridge

Let me start by I don’t leave reviews, I’m not sure I ever have, so know it takes a lot for me to say something, I came here due to my wife having a surgery near by. The moment I got there they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Chris was the person working the front desk and I can’t rave enough how awesome he was. My wife needed a wheelchair he immediately got me one, we needed extra pillows for her, he didnt just “send them up” no he immediately went himself got extra pillows and brought them to me. He was super friendly and really just made u feel like u were family visiting. The room was as big as an embassy suites room for a fraction of the cost. This was our home during the recent ice storm in Nashville that took out power for so many. The hotel manager, Jeff, and the front desk manager, Chris, were such hard working people who made so many feel at ease and like family during this difficult time. The maintenance staff was on call and available and the cleaning staff did a great job. The kitchen staff was gracious and made hot breakfasts every morning, filling in as much as they could when their delivery trucks couldn’t make it. I am so thankful for this place! Great staff, great rooms, great prices.

Upon checking in the view is outstanding due to the hight above the surrounding town. The bed sheets chrisp with thread counts to always felt at other hotels. The service and smiles encountered are infectious. Those that partake of the delightful breakfast will be telling friends cast iron enamel Dutch ovens were used to serve warm eggs, sausage and potatoes...fresh fruit chilled and cereals were pleasant options.

Positive: The staff was great and the breakfast was well done. Negative: Didn’t like paying extra for parking , they say it’s for extra security. Very dirty under bed and mattress needs replace! Room could use updating.
