Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville-Brentwood

We stayed in King Suite 145 on October 10th for one night. We would have been extremely disappointed in this hotel had it it been half the price, but for $300/night (w/taxes) we were appalled. Our room was dirty and in disrepair. The visible mold on the (extremely loud!) air conditioner in the master bedroom was disgusting and we had to turn it off. My daughter slept in the pullout sofa. The sofa and mattress were EXTREMELY old and dirty. The mattress had pen drawings on it and was stained. Should have been tossed 10 years ago! There were old, worn thin, full size sheets for it even though it was a queen, so they would not stay on and did not cover the bed. The sheets and bedding offered for this were gross. Stayed here for about 5 weeks for work. Very nice and comfortable hotel. They have breakfast, and on Wednesdays they have an evening snack time with free beer. Breakfast here is different, normal bagels and waffles but they also put out fresh make to you like burritos. And for the heart healthy fresh yogurt. The rooms have full kitchen/fridges separate living area with TV along with pullout beds. We have enjoyed staying here and would 100% return. They say they are going to do a remodel, but im not sure what they are updating as the room are not outdated.rooms come with an actual air/heat not window units. Also in the quad they have a sitting area with grill pits, pool, and a workout room. Its not cheap/ not overpriced, but if you want a room with the extras, and maybe want some moving ar

Positive: The pool was very nice and the breakfast offered a lot of variety. Negative: We stayed for 4 nights and never received any maid services despite complaining to the front desk on day 3. We had to request towels from the desk on two days.

Very disappointed with this stay and concerned about sanitation, cleanliness, and basic hospitality standards. The hotel looks faded and poorly renovated. The paint job was sloppy, walls were in poor condition, paint was peeling on the doors, and there was visible corrosion throughout the property. Overall, the environment felt neglected and poorly maintained, not refreshed. That night around 9:30 p.m., I called the front desk for an extra blanket and was told there were no blankets available. I asked if there were vacant rooms with extra blankets, and the employee confirmed there were, but said she could not provide one in case a new guest arrived. RESPONSE TO HOTEL: can you please give me a detailed description of how you handled your employee hanging up on me? I complained to the main Hilton line and they said that the GM would be in touch with me about this incredibly rude behavior and I got nothing. Also, my understanding, is that a maid “walked out” on the job… not that the storm was impacting your staffing levels. Sounds like a management issue that you’re conveniently blaming on the storm. Also, your Google review page is filed with similar issues NOT during the storm. How do you explain that? The front desk staff need some serious customer service training.
