Hyatt Place Dewey Beach

I want to give a huge shoutout to Bella!! She checked me in and didn’t blink an eye when my reservation was missing. And no, I didn’t have my confirmation number. It took all my energy to just get there. My confirmation was sitting in my office. Bella handled it with grace. Give that woman a raise people 🎉🎉🎉

Mia is absolutely amazing. Even with our late-night check-in, she greeted us with the biggest smile and genuine warmth. She took the time to help us explore a few different rooms so we could find the perfect fit for our weekend, which made our stay feel even more special. It’s so refreshing to come back to a hotel where the staff truly makes you feel welcomed every single time. Lindsey is also such a bright spot in the mornings, always greeting us with a cheerful “good morning” that sets a positive tone for the day. We truly love coming to the Hyatt in Dewey for our weekend getaways whenever we can. The kindness of the team here is a big part of why it always feels like coming home. Positive: Location to beach and eateries. Super dog-friendly environment! Negative: I was lodged in a room right next to an exit/entey way to the elevators and stairs. That proved to be a quiet noisey area as guests passed throughout the late evening waking the family and dogs.

Great location, very clean and staff very professional

We stayed at this hotel to attend a family function. The hotel is located right on the beach. It has parking in an attached garage. Our room was nice size and for the most part clean. There was some toothpaste or something splattered on the upper part of the mirror. My issue was with breakfast. Most hotels that I have stayed at provide a free basic breakfast. Hyatt charges $11. If I am going to pay that much to serve myself, I would rather go to a restaurant, pay a little more and get served. Which we did.
