Atlantic Oceanside Dewey

The first night I checked in, within an hour of my stay I was completely covered in bed bug bites. I quickly got my things and the nice male overnight clerk got me a new room and checked it for me without question. However, I had so many bites I ended up having an allergic reaction, was sick for two days, and had to go to urgent care. I went to my third party booking site about the incident, and they called multiple times as well as emailed and got no response from the hotel. I then went to the desk clerk to make sure they got notes from the overnight one. Which they did. But they never followed up with me, and didn’t ask if they could do anything else after moving my room. They also said their GM “looked but didn’t find anything and it was out of their hands” and that they “couldn’t do a

We had an amazing time! We brought our dog and the hotel was more than accommodating to him. Walkable to tons of restaurants and bars. The staff (and especially the manager) were great too!

Good location for the beach and receptionist on arrival very friendly and welcoming. To be honest we did not like it at all we were due to stay 3 nights but only stayed 1 as didn’t like the accommodation was bugs, tired, basic lacking, terrible lighting and bathroom snd air con was awful really noisy and didnt seem any point complaining as would imagine all rooms the same so we just left the next morning. Most people staying had dogs constantly walking past our downstairs window and barking. More dogs than people on the beach couldn’t relax. Just not for us I’m afraid. Disappointing paid again to stay elsewhere.

The check-in staff was super friendly, their friendliness caught me off guard. It was really nice. ||The beds were clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean (shower was clean but has seen better days). The floors were dirty (sand and other debris). ||For pet fees, don't misread "Pet fee for all pets is $35 per night." it's per pet, per night. They we kind about it and only charged us for the 1. There also is not a way to pay for more than 1 on the website.||All in, I would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway—Perfect for Families & Pets! We stayed at the Atlantic Ocean Side for memorial day weekend and we had a great experience. Rooms and premises were very clean and entire staff was professional and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect—steps from the beach and just a quick stroll to all the downtown restaurants and shops. I also loved that its a super pet-friendly hotel. We'll definitely be back!
